Wow, how fast Friday got here. And yahoo, it’s tournament time!
The Maven got a couple of opportunities to guest post on other people’s blogs this week. In case you missed them,
- You can learn about Getting [Marketing] Things Done from my post on Stephen P. Smith’s blog. You may know Stephen from Twitter, which is where he and I ran into each other. You can check out his company, In Context Multimedia here. Tell him I said, ‘Hi!’ He’s a cool dude, that Stephen.
- I am blessed to call Ester Fleurke my friend. She has two lovely blogs: Inspiration and Productivity and Pursuing a Holy Life. She kindly let me riff on The Spiritual Power of Next Action Thinking. You can follow her on Twitter here.
Ken Mattsson was in fine form this week and gave me and the GTD Virtual Study Group some fine shout-outs in his post: Too Many Inputs: Are They Ruining Your Life? Ken will be featured on the VSG’s next episode. You can look for it around March 28 or so.
I read a bunch of blogs. Two posts that stood out this week were:
- Michael’ Hyatt’s post on Keeping Your Word. I wrote about making promises a while back. Michael's post hammered home the importance, and difficulties, of making and keeping promises–and excellent read.
- I love the sacredness of the everyday moment. Donald Miller, who is a damn fine writer, put his thoughts into words on his blog. I just loved what he had to say on the topic of Turning Every-Day Actions into Spiritual Rituals. Don lives in Portland, just a wee bit north of where I am. I hold out hope that I’ll get to meet him someday.
Oh, yeah. There were some basketball games. My bracket is in shambles. Thanks to the folks at MindJet, I was able to be productively busted.
That’s it for me. Hope you are well. Stop by and chat on Tuesday (March 23), if you’ve got time to join me.
