OK, so I don’t normally mention things like this. But today I had an experience that was genuinely profound. For some reason, I got a whole passle of Twitter followers over the past 24 hours or so. I ambled over to my feed to check ‘em out and follow them in return.
As I scrolled down, I discovered one of my new tweeps is a hip-hop artist. Curious, I surfed over to Rakbatum's MySpace page and listened to his song, Real Muzik. And that’s when it hit me: at long last, I’m connecting with the people I’ve always longed to serve: people who long for justice, who yearn to be creative and to make a difference. I am humbled and awed.
Social media has got real power. I know it does. How else could a coach in the Pacific Northwest connect with a rapper in Baltimore and find common ground?

That is awesome! I am so happy that you experience that. I will listen to Rakbatum when I get home.
I finally got a chance to listen to it. What an awesome song. Very powerful. Thanks for posting.
